Message from the PTA President

Dear Frazer School Families,

Welcome to a new school year at The Frazer School! As your inaugural year PTA President, I am thrilled to embark on this exciting journey with each of you. Our PTA is dedicated to enriching the educational experience of our students through supportive community efforts and enriching programs.

We are eager to introduce several new initiatives to support our students and teachers in their journey to make this a memorable experience. We believe that strong community ties are the key to our children’s success, and we invite you to join us in making this year exceptional.

Please consider participating in our upcoming events and volunteering opportunities. Your involvement is crucial to our success and provides invaluable support to our students and faculty.

Thank you for being an integral part of our school community. Together, we will make this a fantastic year for our children!

Warm regards,

Han Yi

Our mission

The mission of the Frazer School's Parent–Teacher Association (PTA) is to unlock Frazer School students' potential by engaging families and communities to advocate for and foster each child's unique talents, enabling them to succeed in a global society.

The Frazer School "Flywheel"

The philosophy of the new Frazer School is to foster academic excellence through the powerful synergy of dedicated students, passionate teachers, and supportive parents. Like a "flywheel," this synergy creates a virtuous cycle that drives continuous success for both the school and its students.

About me: My family moved from NC to Gainesville last July just so that our son could join the Frazer school. We feel that this school has been specially created for kids like our son and we are super grateful to have found our tribe – super excited to be part of this incredible community of parents, kids and teachers and consider it a privilege to help where we can with our time, talent and treasure.

Fun fact: I have worked in 5 continents over 30+ years!

About me: My son started the Frazer School in 6th grade, and will be moving up to 7th grade this year. As a new school, I think it’s important to build community and I look forward to growing parent support in the future.

Fun fact: I have traveled to over 29 countries!

About me: For my “day” job, I’m a controller at LifeSouth Community Blood Centers. I have two amazing kids, both of whom started at Frazer School in its inaugural year and are now in their second year. My son, who followed Mr. Frazer from Buchholz High School, is entering 11th grade, and my daughter is going into 5th grade.

Fun fact: I have worked for my current employer for 23 years. I love to travel, do crafts & read.

About me: I am a triple Gator Grad and have called Gainesville home for many years. My kids joined Frazer School in the 4th and 5th grades. I’m passionate about creating strong school-family connections and am excited to help strengthen our community through communication.
