Mu Alpha Theta

Mu Alpha Theta (MAO)

Mu Alpha Theta is a prestigious math competition for middle and high school students, focusing on areas such as algebra, geometry, precalculus, calculus, and statistics. Students compete individually but contribute to their team’s overall division score. The competition season runs from January through July, with monthly regional and invitational meets, culminating in the Florida State Convention in April and the National Convention in the summer. These conventions are only for high school students. Students participate in regular practices and scrimmages to prepare, and top performers can earn medals and trophies.
