Science Bowl
What it is
Science Bowl

Science Bowl is a fast-paced, quiz-style STEM competition for middle and high school students that tests knowledge in areas such as biology, chemistry, physics, math, earth science, astronomy, and energy. Each school team includes four students and one alternate. Regional competitions take place in January, and top teams move on to Nationals in Washington, DC with expenses covered. The preparation season begins in the fall with subject-specific drills and invitationals like SMH and Iron City. Awards are given at both regional and national levels. The competition strengthens fast recall, critical content knowledge, and collaborative dynamics under pressure.
