Science Olympiad

What it is

Science Olympiad is a comprehensive STEM competition for middle (Division B) and high school (Division C) students, covering a broad range of subjects including biology, chemistry, physics, engineering, and earth sciences. Students form 15-member teams, competing in pairs or trios across various hands-on and theoretical events. The season runs from October to May, progressing from invitationals and regionals to state and national tournaments. Students prepare through weekly practices, scrimmages, and participation in events like Rickards and BullSO. Awards include individual medals, team trophies, and advancement opportunities.
